As if her birthday had clicked some sort of special development switch, Martha was absolutely full of new skills today. Suddenly we discovered she could:
- semi-recognisably say the word “catty” twice (the cat flannel we use to wipe her face after meals)
- point to her toes when asked
- wiggle her fingers in a ‘twinkle, twinkle’ movement
- build a tower of four blocks when no-one was looking
- steal a bit of Mummy’s chocolate biscuit while going “Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm!”
